You’ll need to smash the light orb quickly or the green orb will find you. This removes the light barrier in the house above. The first light orb will be in an alcove to the left. Walk behind the orbs when you can and shadow leap past them when your path is blocked. One removes the light barrier in the house above and the other turns off the patrolling orbs. There are two light orbs here that you need to break. Orbs will be patrolling through the caves until you turn them off. For now sneak around the bottom of the cliff under the archer and get ready to run through the caves. Up ahead there’s an archer on a rock ledge in front of a house on a hill. From here you’ll have 10 minutes to get into position. Head through the broken gate to the right and then through another gate. Sneak up the stairs and then over the bridge. Time your leap to jump across to the closest pillar and then over to the other side. Just ahead you’ll notice Orbs patrolling the tops of the pillars. Shadow leap down and to the right to hide in the shadows under the platform. Quickly use Kage once you’re up there to avoid being spotted. Run - Yeah, gotta be honest, running is not the worst idea.Sneak straight down the path and shadow leap up onto the arch for the first of two Katanas. You don't really need to learn every enemy patrol, unless you're going for Kami and Yurei at the same time, but know about shortcuts and routes, like the several underground tunnels throughout the game. Know the maps - Yes, this is obvious, but it's worth noting. Oh, also Shadow Creation can be used in really stupid ways and it works It's a god-send, and if you throw it before an enemy takes out their weapon, they'll usually not raise an alarm after it wears off. But it's pocket sand you can throw about half as far as a Kunai, and it'll hit everyone in front of you. Kage, especially Kage II lets you run past everything, but generally avoid using Shadow Leap while Kage is active Sakkaku II can be used as a single target Kurosuna if you put it beside an enemy Banmoku is your best friend no matter what you're trying to do Kunai and Shinen are obviously useless for Kami and finally, Kurosuna II is goddamned pocket sand. Know your abilities - Or, more specifically, know what they can do. It's fine with Oni, since an enemy can spot you, but it won't count against Yurei unless he actually sets off an alarm (Since, you know, no witnesses after you stab everyone) but you don't really have that luxury for Kami. Only try to get Kami - If you love yourself don't try to do Kami and Yurei at the same time. There's plenty if you use all of your abilities wisely. Use your abilities - Once you have everything unlocked, don't be daunted by the fact that you can't get them back through Shadow Kill. And really, when I say play through the whole game, I mean get all of the abilities first, both in terms of through scrolls and the ones you get through missions (Not that there's any after the bells, if I remember correctly) Play through the whole game first - While you can pretty easily do Oni first time through, at least after you have Shadow Vanish (Disintegrate bodies), and maybe Yurei if you're careful, Kami is not easy to do. As such, if you're playing to get all the skins, play on easy. Play on Easy - While medals show as being specific to difficulties, getting a medal again on the same mission on a different difficulty won't count as another medal. Here's some advice, I've just recently gone through and gotten every single medal in the main game:
